A bit more about October...
She is so strong she can almost sit up all by herself. She is so curious about everything that is going on around her. She is always looking around and reaching for things. She is incredibly happy and has the greatest giggle, which she shares often and is easy to get to giggle and can even get a full laughter attack going if you tickle her just right.Kyrie is a precious, precious baby. I love and cherish her so very much!
Breoni has so much personality and intelligence. She loves to dance and sing and read. She can request several books by name and has several of them almost memorized and can 'read' them to mommy and requests books by name when it is time to 'rock and read'. She also loves to sing and has quite the selection of songs that she can sing all by herself. OCTOBER 23, 2008
Breoni loves to play dress up, especially with shoes. She is going to be a 'shoes fanatic'! She was trying all the different shoes on and decided that the boots were the best. She is very fond of the camera and loves to have her picture taken. And, afterwards wants to look at the pictures over and OVER again. She was giving us her best poses!
Breoni is have a 'little' bit of a 'mine' complex with the toys that used to be hers and wants to be wherever Kyrie is! Kyrie just takes it all in stride. It probably helps that Breoni is the most interesting thing to Kyrie. It is so fun to watch Kyrie turning and adjusting so she can always watch what Breoni is doing. Breoni is wonderful with Kyrie. I feel so blessed to have two incredible little girls. They are both truly amazing little spirits. They are the light of my life.
A bit about October...
Park City School District Child Care Center
Breoni and Kyrie are doing really well at school. Kyrie is developing rapidly. She is already rolling over and is almost able to sit up on her own. Breoni is making the transition to a new class now that we are at the new center. She starts the day with the older kids and then seems to want to go back to her 'old' teachers in the afternoon! They are the favorites with everyone becasue they are both so happy! Breoni is really helpful and well behaved rave her teachers! And, Kyrie is just the 'easiest' baby ever! She 'coos' up a storm and we are all sure that she is going to have tons to say when the words start rolling in!
Breoni still loves her hoppy and binkie!Enjoying Fall on the Front Porch
What a great daddy!
Jerry noticed this snail making it's way across the front sidewalk and called us all out for a little lesson on nature. We spent quite awhile just watching it make it's way. It was actually quite fascinating to see how the snail very gracefully moved across the sidewalk leaving a little gooey trail! Breoni was really worried when it kind of toppled over at one point, but we assured her 'it' would be able to get going again!OCTOBER 5, 2008
We love our 'doggie towel' and 'Buff Bodies'!
I gave Kyrie a bath on the kitchen counter in her 'portable' tub. Breoni thought that looked really cool and followed. Kyrie waited patiently while Breoni (who barely fit in the tub) got a 'splash bath' and then they both enjoyed some towel time!

Great, great kids!
Breoni is really loving eating with forks these days and generally wants one for every type of food on her plate... and 'ranch dip' is a crucial part of every meal. Breoni is a really good eater. She loves her vegetables. She loves to eat salad with Mommy. She likes to have a variety of foods at every meal. I am really grateful to the 'PCSC CCC' (that's the day care...) for all the wonderful programs they have... 'Breakfast Club' and 'School Lunch' are saving me! I will end up bring food twice for the whole year. I bring the designated list of foods for the whole week (twice!)
and Breoni is able to eat 'hot' breakfast every morning! She loves Bacon and Pancakes! She also really likes apples! She ladies in the kitchen (at the high school) are wonderful and have a great program for lunch for the day care kids. It is so nice to know that your kids are being loved, taught and fed well!
Kyrie still loves playing with her balloons! She also loves lots of other colorful and 'noisy' toys! She is really becoming her own little person and is incredibly curious about what is going on around her! She is going to be a people watcher just like me!!!Skilled Pumpkin Carving!

Made with LOVE by Grandma!
DISNEY ON ICE!

Dad comes to visit!

A girls weekend out in ST. GEORGE!
My parents are FINALLY moving back to UTAH! They have decided to relocate to ST. GEORGE! My mom arrived on Friday morning (7th) and spent the day watching the girls. I picked Sierra up on my way home from school. Then, we went home and had a few 'gliches' in leaving on time... Like I am a 'duh' brain. I had everything loaded and started looking for the 'center' seat belt for Sierra (who was going to have a 'fun' ride squished between two car seats in the Subaru! which isn't really a roomy vehicle... I love it when it is just me and the girls and wish I would have gotten a roomier vehicle when we are more than three!) and I couldn't find it. I really thought I had 'taken it out' and looked and looked. I even went to the dealer and the 'nice' gentleman informed me that the belt comes from the ceiling and had been there all along. BOY! Did I feel like the 'ditzy woman'!
We stopped in Draper to get some food... and made great time on the drive to AURORA! We had a wonderful evening at the Sorensen's. Sierra and Savannah slept (maybe?) outside in their trailer! We got up on Saturday morning to a great breakfast and headed for St. George.
We had a great lunch from a 'bunch' of different places at the mall, followed by ice cream. Then, we all jumped in Linda's vehicle (which is Very ROOMY... it is one of those cross-over things that is a mix of SUV and Mini Van). We drove out to the 'site' for my parents new home. It is in the most amazing place. The scenery is stellar. We walked through several homes... even one that was being lived in! We were being aggressive about talking to anyone outside and not shy about asking if we could see their homes. We also drove through some other neighborhoods.
We headed back to the hotel for dinner and a FUN! FUN! time in the swimming pool. We had the best room... it had two queens in one room and a king in the other... all for $149!Our biggest 'adventure' was the fire alarms going off in the middle of the night. I was just a bit concerned about the fact that ALL the kids slept right through it... doesn't do much for your 'paranoid' mother syndrome.
We went to IHOP for breakfast and then took a detour to the MALL for Sierra and Savannah to shop at 'areopostle'. I guess it is all the RAGE! Then, more touring for homes. We headed for home around 3:00!
I didn't take any pictures... I had it when I do that! So the only evidence we have of the evening is our 'attempt' at the 'picture booth'. It is harder than you think to get 3 adults, 2 tweens, a toddler and an infant in that booth!
We had a BLAST!
POTTY Training 101!
So... here we go! Breoni has been really good about wearing her 'big girl panties' every evening when we get home. She is working with the teachers at school well and will sit on the 'mini toilets' that they have in the day care. I have never seen such small toilets. I didn't even know they made them so little! She is stellar about sitting on the potty when mom and/or dad ask her to, however we are having a little more difficulty with 'knowing' that it is time to go. We have had regular accidents and not much success with 'making it to the potty'. She had really got the process down. She loves to FLUSH! and is a PRO at washing her hands!ANY and ALL suggestions welcome here!!!!!
What a DOLL!
We love, Love, LOVE her!
